GAA: El Feile, the proud trophy sponsors of the Iberian mens and ladies Gaelic football championships for the last 4 years, has always been at the heart of development of the games on the peninsula: a scene that has continued.  A scene that has continued to develop strongly in tandem with the festival. This year the festival will feature 2 events.
Invitational Gaelic Games showcase: Barcelona Gaels will host visiting teams from Ireland in disciplines of men's and women's Gaelic football, and a sport not often seen in this part of the world, Camogie, which is essentially the ladies version of Hurling
When: Saturday March 14 - 11am - 4pm
Where: Campo de Rugby del Complejo Deportivo Municipal Mar Bella (Ronda del Litoral Mar, 86-96 - M: Ciutadella-Villa Olimpica: L4)
Round 2: Iberian men's and women's Gaelic Football Championship: This is the main action of the Barcelona Gaels pre-summer calendar. A four tournament championship that ends in Pamplona in June. It will feature teams from Madrid, Valencia, Pamplona, Valls and Barcelona in what are extremely competitive matches. Last years series was decided on the final game on the final day.
So get down and support the local legends 'the Gaels' who will be eager to take full points on their home soil.

RUGBY:
Rugby is at the heart of the Celtic psyche and the 6 nations championship  is where it all happens. Each year El Feile always manages to frame the business end of the competition and 2009 with our expanded programme will bring the last two phases within our dates.
All of our affiliated Irish bars are the only places to be for these matches to soak up the passion felt for this great sport.
