SAD NEWS: BERNARD MOLLOY PASSES ON MARCH 2, 2009:
This morning we received some deeply shocking news that Bernard Molloy  passed away last night Monday 2nd of March 2009. He went out doing what he loved doing best playing, wonderful traditional music with his session group, playing at the time in the Michael Collins Bar in Barcelona. He is something of an institution in Barcelona Irish traditional music circles, regularly performing all over the city. The many who shared a tune or the people who sat and enjoyed know what a loss this generous man was.
He has been a part of El Feile programming and planning for years, was a rock of reliability and composure around which we built many wonderful events. He was scheduled to take part once again in the street party. He was an extremely modest man, a pleasure to work with and share a jar with. In a word a true gentleman.
You will be truly missed and may you slot easily into a great session up above. Everyone at El Feile extends their sincerest sympathies to his family and many friends.
