We are delighted to announce the arrival of cinema to the El Feile programme.
Traditionally, film from Ireland has been a strong but somewhat sporadic export.
In recent years international audiences have been treated a little more often to some indie gems from the Emerald Isle. Martin McDonagh's "In Burges" is 100% Irish, in all but location, has picked up a Golden Globe and is currently nominated for an Oscar. Tom Collins' "Kings", John Carney's "Once", Lenny Abrahamson's "Garage" have all found audiences abroad. This year we celebrate Irish film with two surprise movie nights in Sala Mau Mau.
