In 2010 EL FEILE, Barcelona’s Irish and Celtic contemporary arts festival, celebrates its 7th edition from March 12th to 21 thpresenting a compact programme which includes Music, IrishDance, Gaelic Games, and comedy.
While we are not directly involved with certain gigs it is a huge week for Irish and Celtic Culture. Some real diverse giants of Irish music are in town with The Cranberries (March 13), Belfast Heavy Metal legendsThe Answer (March 12) and we will be directly involved in bringing the king of Irish rap to Barcelona for the first time ever whenRÍ RÁ supports the mighty Method Man on Paddy’s night (March 17) in Razzmatazz(CHANGE OF VENUE!!!)** in what will be without a doubt the biggest Hip Hop night of 2010.
With a supporting cast of events including Scottish comedy protégée Kevin Bridges, the Kitty´s Street Party and the hotly contested 6 nations going on in the background the Celtic vibe will be in full effect. And don’t forget to take part in our traditional Aerlingus competition to win a pair of flights to visit Ireland!
